People who praise spotify without experiencing Soundcloud to its fullest are lying to you. Despite the buggy UI, soundclouds product is unparalelled to any other music streaming product in existence. Theres a good reason rappers like Lil Xan and many others are starting rather huge careers from soundcloud instead of spotify. Soundcloud has never pushed anything to its listeners and instead reccomends new and upcoming artists along with the other reccomendations you already have. Unlike spotify, soundcloud prioritizes its customers and its product before trying to grow revenues. I often find myself adding every song in my listening history right after an album into a playlist since it's so well done. At the end of an album or playlist, soundcloud has a feature that keeps playing music based on the ones you just heard with a flow that spotify can only dream of. In regards to playlists, soundcloud creams spotify for playing music similar to the ones you were listening to and shuffling artists (ones that you haven't heard yet) into your mixes and playlists without you even noticing that your playlist ended.
Soundcloud has everything that spotify has and so much more. Fvckoff's Experience With over 170 million audio files compared to spotify's measly 40 million (estimated), soundcloud provides a much much larger selection of songs (roughly 120 million are free) that can easily be shared to friends even if they dont have an account.
